Mixed bag today, cloud, sun and more cloud..only managed 4.6 O's or Os or Ozzis or whatever.
Currently last 7 months shows my Lecci units used; at only 43.34% of the pre solar amount.... :T:T2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax:
Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).0 -

So you got your own back today. .. suppose I had my fun for the month.
10.56kwh / 3.52 O's today :mad:0 -
You could do what I've done with my immersion heater and run a 3kW (230V) element at 115V when it magically transforms into a 750W element.
BTW 19.03 kWh yesterday and 17.92 today.
Can anybody explain what all those lights are in the desert of Western Australia? (bottommost lights for the geographically challenged!) I know they have lots of remote mines, but each one looks as bright as for the whole of Perth.0 -

Another 11 days yet, far from over......:rotfl:4.6 oooos

There is probably zero cloud cover and zero water vapour and zero pollution in the air over the desert, but I still is amazing to see the lighting all over outback Australia.0 -
Cloudy start & some Sun later on. 13/ 6.50

Has anyone else had a request like this from their FiT provider?
In order to comply with the Feed-in Tariff (FiT) regulations, FiT Licensees are obligated to ensure that the data held on the Ofgem Central FiT register is complete and accurate.
We have identified that the Total Installed Capacity (TIC) of your FiT system requires updating on our systems.

Please could you supply this information at your earliest convenience. If you don’t have access to this information, please contact the installer of your system.

As far as I can see my entry on the database is correct.

In my case the inverter and the panels almost exactly match in terms of their theoretical maximum output.
Which number are they after?0 -
6.57 kwh/2.19 O's it rained most of the day. We had sun for a short time in afternoon.
Reporting from Sheffield.0 -

Hiya John, until someone who know's better comes along, here's my understanding, and findings.
In most cases the DNC & TIC will simply be stated as the kWp of the install. What is on your FIT application? On both of mine I've stated TIC & DNC as the kWp of the panels.
But the definitions are trickier. Here is an OFGEM guidance, see 2.17 to 2.21. It is for systems over 50kWp, but hopefully still works.
http://www.ofgem.gov.uk/Sustainability/Environment/fits/Documents1/FIT%20Generator%20Guidance.pdf
2.17. TIC is defined in Schedule A to Standard Licence Condition 33 as:
"the maximum capacity at which an Eligible Installation could be operated for a sustained period without causing damage to it (assuming the Eligible Low-carbon Energy Source was available to it without interruption), a declaration of which is submitted as part of the processes of ROO-FIT Accreditation and MCS certified
Registration."
2.18. DNC is defined in Schedule A to Standard Licence Condition 33 as:
"The maximum capacity at which the installation can be operated for a sustained period without causing damage to it (assuming the source of power used by it to generate electricity was available to it without interruption) less the amount of
electricity that is consumed by the plant."
I know that the industry isn't happy with OFGEM using the kWp as both hot panels and a capped inverter change things, but OFGEM are sticking to their interpretation, rather than what many think is correct. But action stopped short of a legal challenge, so kWp is probably the way to go.
Just checking, but you don't happen to have a kWp that is a few Wp over 4,000? But a FIT of upto 4kWp. If everything is 4,000Wp or under, then you're fine ...... hopefully!
Mart.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Only 2.19 O's..Never mind specsavers, time to visit Machine Mart....great range of Chain Saws....
Only 2.52 O's from Northants, cloudy all afternoon; no good for me.....:mad:2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
