A pitiful 2.9 kWh today. That's kWh, not O's.2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.0

Hi
Mart's post was for one day and mentioned early generation, which could be any time before late generation - I'm pretty sure that's what was meant.

However, I can see that the WNW would be less productive than an ESE in the morning and that this is what Mart meant.
Hiya Kernel, even by my standards, that was one badly written and confusing bit of gibberish. Apologies.
Basically, Zeup has got it, the WNW system at 30d pitch doesn't get much/any generation from early and low NE sun. But don't take too long to switch on, perhaps 20 to 30 mins after the ESE at the moment.
From then on, till 10/11am they don't generate much, perhaps 200W, but generate much less, even zero if the sky is totally clear (and the ESE panels are chugging away). But if the sky is more white(ish) the WNW can hit 400W or more due to reflected light, before they start to power up from about 10am onwards (which still seems astonishingly early to me). I've mentioned this before (sorry) but they can hit 1kW (from 2kWp) by 12 noon (11am GMT), even though the sun isn't shining on the roof, just peaking over the ridge and down the face of the panels. Not complaining, just a little baffled.
By 1pm (noon GMT) the sun is still short of the ridgeline, but the WNW can be hitting 1.2kW, and the ESE holding 3kW.
[All kW's are sustained, not peaks]
So potential/actual daily maxs are (or were!):
ESE clear blue sky till 4pm, then whitish - 24kWh (but has hit 24+kWh's)
WNW whitish sky till 11am, then clear blue - 12kWh (but has hit 12.1kWh's)
Clearly both can't exist on the same day, but I have recently had a 35kWh day, so my theoreticals are clearly wrong, but I think that can be put down to the exceptionally cold air temps.
Still living, still learning!

We haven't had any serious rain for a couple of weeks now but I'm not worried about it just yet. I've still got almost 3 tonnes of water stored in basement which will keep us going for another month or so. Providing OH doesn't notice me pinching it we've another tonne or so in tanks outdoors.
Weather forecast for tonight / tomorrow suggests we might get some more rain soon - but since that's from same folk that assured me there would be virtually no sun today I'm not that confident.
It actually got quite sunny here around 11am and I managed to do a load of washing. But really annoyed that I'd relied on forecast and ran dishwasher last night !
14.8 kWh today
10.5 Yesterday
14.5 Monday
20.7 Sunday
Perhaps not spectacular figures but even yesterday was worth (nearly)£5 so not to be sneezed at.
246kWh so far this month which might pro-rata up to 616kWh in a full month compared with pvgis suggestion of 435kWh
Alas, Summer Solstice day is little more than a week away then it's all downhill till Xmas !NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50
