Today my Solar Panels whereb one year old. My installers estimated that it will generate 2455. The actual generation for the year was 2070, so it was short by 385 kwh that is a big difference.
That does actually seem very low for a 3kWp system, but I don't know your full circumstances, angles, shading, etc. I get over 1800kWh pa with my somewhat inverter-limited (see previous posts) 2kWp system, installer prediction (which I believe is based on a standard formula which is very pessimistic) was 1600kWh.
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.

Actually looking back at two other quotes I had for Solar Panel installation they 1) estimated 2024 so It actually generated more :T
    The 2nd quote I had estimated 2060 :j
So it actually generated more then these two estimates :rotfl::j:T

This is only to make myself happy

If I remember rightly, you have a shading issue from a neighbour's tree.

Sounds to me as though unsuccessful quoter 1 (slightly) overestimated that problem, UQ2 had a better shot at it but installer you used had ignored problem.

I still recommend copper nails :D

Back to today. . In morning it was cloudy and sun was out just before afternoon. . it generated 13.28 kwh or 4.42 O's.

    Cowboy salesman?

If the roots travel under your garden, they might have problems coping with the selective herbicide you use (over use) on your law, though the strong stuff is probably only available to our farming friends.

What sort of lovely tree is it?

My wife seems quite philosophical about the "shaping" I have done to our conifers.

I seem to have a massive Tree issue form a house that backs to mine... usually after 11am the system goes above 2.5kwh.. usually it can get low as 300watts on a sunny day because of shading...

Highest in a day it generated in a year is 18 kwh that was few days ago.. 3 times it hit over 17kwh...

Possibly just a bit pushed for time, new in job, generally incompetent rather than evil.

Shafeeq did right thing and had three quotes. I'm sure he'll have accepted the one he did on price etc rather than believing a generation forecast out of step with other tenderers.

Yet to find anyone without one (or at least a small one).

I bet your neighbour lies awake at night worrying that tree might blow on house and hoping that it catches Ash Die-back, Dutch Elm or some other more appropriate disease.

He may even be wondering how to get round a Tree Preservation Order . . . ?

Last two days with slightly messy weather and on/off cloud cover, but both came in above target, with 26.8 & 22.6 or 4.8 O's and 4.05 O's respectively.

Week 1 closed on an incredible 204kWh's or 36.56 O's. If average for rest of June then possible 692kWh's. But if week 1 repeated throughout June (in my imaginary, icing sugar dusted world), then that's 874kWh's!!!!!

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

Back down to earth with 5.73 kWh today, weather much worse than forecast yesterday, lots of rain and we even had hailstones overnight! Tomorrow looking better.
