Everyone can relax, I finally got my 4O winks. Best gen of the year, to bring Mch to a sunny close, with 4.13 O's.
Next ...... how far away is Hawaii?Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

5.25 Os tonight.
101 (well really 102 after rounding) Os for the month.
Matches August 2024 and not far off May & July 2024.

5.72 Os to round out the month, and 109.86 Os in total for the month, 133% of PVGISWe had our solar panels and ASHP installed last June. To date, the ASHP has consumed 2145kWh and the solar has generated 2440kWh (and we still have 2.5 sunny months to go to round out the 12 month period), so I can confidently say our annual solar generation more than offsets our annual heat pump usage for heating and hot water. There is a slight price differential between our average winter import price of ~19p and our SEG export of 15p, but our heating and hot water costs are near as covered by solar generation and we no longer burn 1600L of oil per year, which is a fantastic result.7

Mch results.
Good month with 99% of target. Big spread, with 95% for the ESE/SSW and 115% for the WNW.
Generated 614kWh (70.37 O's).
Imported 161kWh.
Exported 14kWh.
Total consumption 761kWh.
Gas was ~77kWh. [DHW & oven.]
Consumption reasonable(ish). BEV charging was mostly PV, but ~120kWh from import/cheap rate early in the month. GCH is still off, and with a full winter behind us, I'm happy it's no longer needed. So combi to come out, and a HW tank (leccy powered) to go in.
Looks like this Mch is only about 50kWh of leccy higher than usual. That's because for a few years we've been using excess PV to power the A2A units, and this year with a bigger PV system, we've had a lot more to use. So utilising batts to displace GCH completely has had only a small impact. But gas consumption is down about 600kWh from Mch 2024. Leccy bill actually lower than last year, since almost all import was cheap rate (about 16kWh was day rate).
Thought I might add on bills with a running total for the year (doesn't include any export/FiT monies):
Leccy for the month £13.60 + SC £16.55 Running total = £200.32
Gas for the month £4.42 + SC £7.94 Running total = £40.76
Petrol .... £0.00Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Total for the month 392kWh, previous highest in 2020 was 334kWh so almost 20% above that peak. Average for the month over the last 12 years was 256kWh but that included a bad March when inverter failed (PVGIS is 257kWh)
Did anyone else notice the partial eclipse in their data?
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.5
