    7.04 O's or 28.16kWh yesterday. Not a record, but near my best:D

My best day ever was June 4th 2012 with 28.449kWh.

Brilliant forecast for today(so they say) so could beat it :rotfl:

I appreciate the prompt reply, Eric.
I think I'd be better off with somebody's March generation, then adjust by comparing systems. So, does anybody keep a record of calendar monthly production, please?

Well, that's significantly above my 23.40. It seems that even a slightly flatter roof like yours makes a big difference when the Sun is rising in the NE and setting in the NW.

Actually, I had very little generation between 05:20 & 7am or 7pm & 20:55 (the periods when I had some generation and sun was N of due E/W). What is more noticeable from daily generation curve is a series of very sharp dips as a cloud went over. The 'raw' information that cloud cover was x% is meaningless - what makes a difference is how often a cloud gets between you & sun. My generation might even be significantly different (greater OR smaller) if the house footprint had been located a few hundred metres away.

Noon peak should be affected by roof geometry and today the ideal roof slope would be around 35deg. On June 21st 30deg will be best. My 17.5deg is never going to be ideal but even today I'm better off than someone with a 55deg roof and on Solstice day I'll beat a 45 deg roof (clouds permitting :D ).

So, is this 'Tunnel' character a little loud, then? :)

What I actually said was "perhaps we have someone quieter also in the area" i.e. maybe we have a 'forum lurker' who fits your bill but from whom we seldom hear.

Ah well the fortnight ended on a high note, and I just might have had a record reading over the bank holiday weekend. Perhaps today will be the end of low cloud being sucked in off the cold N. Sea?

I have now achieved a generation of 5,000 kWh since installation on Valentine's day 2012.

Today I am "enjoying" a massive haze of vapour trails, mainly aiming a Stansted airport.

Best day ever today, perfect combination of cold and sun.

21.62kWh = 7.2 Os, better than any day before now.

We don't have perfect elevation and face SSW so I wonder how good it could be.

Out of interest what is the maximum O's that anyone has achieved?

Our unshaded SE system at 45degrees has a record performance of 6.68 O's (24.7kWh). That could well be beaten today as we're currently at 24.259kWh and generating 1.10kW - the combination of almost unbroken sunshine and a stiff breeze has made for a great day of generation. We're averaging 22.7kWh/day this month, not taking into account the rest of today's generation.

As expected we surpassed our previous best performance of 24.7kWh (6.68 O's) (1st May this year) and notched up 25.7kWh today (6.95 O's). 92.4kWh's already in the bag for June

I reckon 7 O's should be possible (even with our SE system) since we're not at the summer solstice yet and there was quite a bit of haze around today, but it would need a good breeze like today.

    Hi SDJ

    I've just checked mine. Managed 14.65kWh from my ESE 1.96 system, that's a whopping 7.47 O's.
    "Only" 12.29kWh from the SSW 2.04,just 6.02 O's(damn those late afternoon clouds:rotfl:)

Got to be happy with 26.94kWh total(6.73 O's)

Astonishing day today, must be the colder air temps, got a new record of 6.29 O's or 35.1kWh's.

Let the side down a bit, no washing, dishwasher only half full, just made some wraps for lunch, and garden furniture drying from new paint job on lawn, when I suddenly thought about a quick mow, so no go, on the mow, blow! Hope the neighbours are grateful for a little bit of de-carbonising?

Maybe I should get an export meter fitted. :D

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

reading of 14.5 kWh or 7.25 O's today. Highest ever, you know of the last 5 days I have been reading the meter :D

2 loads washing and drying, slow cooker, hoovering all free

Scorching day here today with not a cloud in the sky all day and no wind.
I've noticed a few say wind/ breeze helps. Why is this?
