A grim October, 17.2% below PVGIS, one of my worst.2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.6

PVGIS at 78.2% this month
74.3% for Sept.
I'm wondering if my figures are a bit low as my system isn't oversized. Possibly should have got them to add an extra panel although that would have not been so neat.PPI success. Banding success. Double Dip PCN cancelled! South facing solar (Midlands) and battery. Savings Session supporter (is it worth it now!?)6 -
0.42 O's for today
PVGIS 106% for October, last few days were poor but still my best Oct so farBarnsley, South Yorkshire
Solar PV 5.25kWp SW facing (14 x 375) installed Mar 22
Lux 3.6kw hybrid inverter and 9.6kw Pylontech batteries
Daikin 8kW ASHP installed Jan 25

4th worst October in last 13.16 Sanyo Hit 250s.4kWp SMA 3.8kWp inverter. SW roof. 28° pitch. Minimal shade. Nov 2011 install. Hybrid car. Ripple Kirk Hill. N.E Lincs Coast.5 -
Another poor month at 91% of PVGIS. Last two years, October has been 129% and 111%.Just checked the outlook for the next week and there is no sun in the forecast!6.4kWp (16 * 400Wp REC Alpha) facing ESE + 5kW Huawei inverter + 10kWh Huawei battery. Buckinghamshire.5

Poor day. 0.48 O's
61.72 O's for the month.
October 24 ranked 6th out of 11
105.48% of PVGIS for the month.
107.69% of PVGIS for 10 months of the year. Mean average for the system is 113.3 %
At this point 200 kWh behind my worst year in 2017. That year had my highest Nov and Dec production figures. I wonder if 2024 will be the same?
In 2017 Nov produced 129.9 of PVGIS and Dec produced 134.1 % of PVGIS3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds5 -
October results.
Very poor month with 80% of target. Wide spread, with 77% for the ESE/SSW and 94% for the WNW.
Generated 330kWh (37.83 O's).
Imported 367kWh.
Exported 15kWh.
Total consumption 712kWh.
Gas was ~110kWh. [DHW & oven.]
Consumption reasonable. BEV charging was a mix of PV and cheap rate but mostly cheap rate now. GCH is still off.
Worst Oct result, but in the nicest possible way, good to see many others with similar %age.
Currently projecting 87% for the year, which would 'smash' our worst year 2017 which was 99%.
[Issues with upgraded system now hopefully sorted. Looks like Oct was first proper test of all the toys. Hope to reduce daytime import to a minimum, was ~15kWh sneaking past the batts/inverter. But time will tell. If all goes to plan, then almost all leccy will now be PV, or cheap rate. Plenty of headroom still with the A2A units, not yet running 24/7. Should cope with Nov, then additional heating as we enter Dec.
Looks like this Oct about 200kWh of leccy higher than usual, but no GCH.]
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
