Very impressive getting 7s, especially with an undersized inverter (I presume you're dividing by the panel output). The only month I've ever got close to a 7 is May. It's quite unusual for the inverter to be undersized with that low a kWp, was there a reason for this?

Oh, away from home and just checking back seems we've had a Wink, two Maidens and an Hawaii today so a strong finish to month end if still below par. Been a glorious day up here in Bonnie Scotland.

Yesterday's generation was 25.4kW from our 3.645kWp array, so that's 25.4/3.645 = 6.97 O's

The install was part of the ECO4 scheme, at no cost to us, so I cannot complain. I guess they were looking to keep costs down whilst meeting the requirements of the scheme. In an ideal world I'd have specified an extra panel (giving 4.05kWp) and a 3.6kW inverter, but it wouldn't make financial sense now to pay for scaffolding for one extra panel and pay for a replacement 3.6kW inverter to replace our 3kW model, so for now this is what we have.

Today we have 5.7 O's

We are at 416kW for July with a day to go, versus a PVGIS target of 438kW, so another really good day tomorrow and we are just about on target for the month, and certainly within the standard deviation.

Passed my worst July total yesterday but impossible to be any better than 10th out of 11. Maybe will still beat PVGIS.

4.69 Os to end the month

88.4% of pvgis - middle bit of July wasn't great! 

But total energy bill for the month is circa -£14 so can't complain too much.
