NedS said:Hi all,I'm new to this game, had our 3.645kWp array installed mid June, so July is our first full month. Are daily Os my generation divided by my array size in kWp (3.645kWp) or divided by my inverter which is only 3.0kW (I assume it's the former)? We had a near perfect day yesterday with a near perfect generation curve, with clipping between 12-2:30pm achieving 7.0 Os. (only beaten by 26/6/2024 at 7.15 Os which looks like our absolute maximum generation being mid summer, perfect sunny day, not too warm)A couple of good days to finish the month as we should just about hit our PVGIS within standard deviation.Forgot to mention, we are south facing (28deg slope, -2deg azimuth, no overshadowing).2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.3

Thought you'd been a little quiet. Not that I've got much to shout about.
Oh, away from home and just checking back seems we've had a Wink, two Maidens and an Hawaii today so a strong finish to month end if still below par. Been a glorious day up here in Bonnie Scotland.East coast, lat 51.97. 8.26kw SSE, 23° pitch + 0.59kw WSW vertical. Nissan Leaf plus Zappi charger and 2 x ASHP's. Givenergy 8.2 & 9.5 kWh batts, 2 x 3 kW ac inverters. Indra V2H . CoCharger Host, Interest in Ripple Energy & Abundance.3 -
Exactly a Hawaii today, 5.0 Os.PPI success. Banding success. Double Dip PCN cancelled! South facing solar (Midlands) and battery. Savings Session supporter (is it worth it now!?)4

I guess they were looking to keep costs down whilst meeting the requirements of the scheme. In an ideal world I'd have specified an extra panel (giving 4.05kWp) and a 3.6kW inverter, but it wouldn't make financial sense now to pay for scaffolding for one extra panel and pay for a replacement 3.6kW inverter to replace our 3kW model, so for now this is what we have.Today we have 5.7 O'sWe are at 416kW for July with a day to go, versus a PVGIS target of 438kW, so another really good day tomorrow and we are just about on target for the month, and certainly within the standard deviation. Our green credentials: 12kW Samsung ASHP for heating, 7.2kWp Solar (South facing), Tesla Powerwall 3 (13.5kWh), Net exporter5

4.5 O's today, only need 8.9kWh tomorrow to hit PVGIS, that's 1.7 O's.

More Sun yesterday with clouds. Sometimes too many!
Hawaii + 0.32 O's
Passed my worst July total yesterday but impossible to be any better than 10th out of 11. Maybe will still beat PVGIS.
3.795 kWp Solar PV System. Capital of the Wolds6 -
4.69 Os to end the month
88.4% of pvgis - middle bit of July wasn't great!
But total energy bill for the month is circa -£14 so can't complain too much.PPI success. Banding success. Double Dip PCN cancelled! South facing solar (Midlands) and battery. Savings Session supporter (is it worth it now!?)5 -
4.88 O's 103% of PVGIS for JulyBarnsley, South Yorkshire
