Well at least March 2023 is over (thankfully), can we turn the clocks back please? today 0.7 & 0.42 O's - March total 2023 74.16% PVGIS compared to March 2022 which was 121.35%2 Separate arrays, 7 x JASolar 380w panels (2.66kWp) south facing, 4 x JASolar 380w panels (1.52kWp) east facing, 11 x Tigo optimizers & cloud, Growatt SPH5000, Growatt 6.5kWh Hybrid battery (Go-live 01/12/21) - Additional reporting via Solar Assistant.1

1.4 O's today and finishing the month @75% of pvgis. Around 200kW's down which is approx the difference between generation and consumption this month. I guess one consolation being that we did use 95% of what PV generated.East coast, lat 51.97. 8.26kw SSE, 23° pitch + 0.59kw WSW vertical. Nissan Leaf plus Zappi charger and 2 x ASHP's. Givenergy 8.2 & 9.5 kWh batts, 2 x 3 kW ac inverters. Indra V2H . CoCharger Host, Interest in Ripple Energy & Abundance.3

0.8 O's and ended with 251 out of the 270kWh predicted by PVGIS, or 93% so I guess I can't complain too much.8kWh of net import.3.6 kW PV in the Midlands - 9x Sharp 400W black panels - 6x facing SE and 3x facing SW, Solaredge Optimisers and Inverter. 400W Derril Water (one day). Octopus Flux2

My worst day of March ended the month.
2.222 kWh or 0.56 O's
310.9 kWh or 98.16 % of PVGIS. System March average is 359.8 kWh
2nd worst March in 9 years. Worst 2018 with 263 kWh Best 2022 with 441 kWh
Still ahead of PVGIS by 124.1 kWh

Another poor day at 1.22 O's, but obviously not as bad as some of the above.March achieved only 78% of PVGIS compared with 118% last year. At least the weather for the coming week looks better.6.4kWp (16 * 400Wp REC Alpha) facing ESE + 5kW Huawei inverter + 10kWh Huawei battery. Buckinghamshire.2

Well that was my worst March ever by far, only 57.3% of PVGIS, 119.5% last year.2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.1

March results.
Rotten month with 78% of target. Small spread, with 76% for the ESE and 82% for the WNW. Only 4kWh more than our worst Mch, back in 2017.
Generated 283kWh (50.72 O's).
Imported 618kWh.
Exported 156kWh.
Consumed 745kWh.
Gas was ~847kWh.
Very high consumption, due to a lot of BEV charging (all night rate). Hopefully gen will now be high enough to allow some PV charging. A2A units used most days with spare PV, but some import too. GCH reduced, and low(ish) for a Mch, but probably reflects mild weather more than A2A units.
Shame about the export, especially if it could have knocked 1/4 or more off the import, but batts still some time away as the market is so messy.
Failed to hit the 50MWh lifetime milestone by 20kWh, but a few sunny days coming up, so any day now.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.
For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.6 -
Yesterday: a rather surprising 4.9kWh and 1.1 O's. Surprising given the almost constant rain until mid afternoon.
For the month: 313.7 kWh which is 86.9% PVGIS2 -
