So good to see some sustained sunshine again at last!
3.6 O`s today3.975 kWp System, South facing, 21 degree pitch, 15 x Canadian Solar Elps, Samil Inverter, location NE Scotland (Fraserburgh) Bring on the Sun :beer:3 -
13kWh, 2.93 O's. Mostly bright with a few sunny spells.2

A few glimpses of Sun yesterday but mostly clouds and rain.
2.46 O's
25 kWh behind where I should be in the month of March. Compared to last March I am 100 kWh behind as at 21/03.
If you look at the year so far I am 108 kWh ahead of estimate.

Sorry for my lengthy (and continuing) absence from the forum.Alnat1 said:Still only at 43% of PVGIS for March after 21 daysGlad it's not just me!I was checking my solar numbers yesterday and thought "March has been awful, I wonder if there's something wrong with my system?"Judging from recent posts on this thread, the problem is likely to be meteorological rather than electrical.N. Still projecting a poor 84% for March. Every good day matched by a poor one, but at least able to run the A2A units most of the days now, so that's nice.
Projecting a lifetime generation of 50,001kWh at the end of March, so still doable before April.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

Nearly a whole day of Sun. 85% sunny with dark skies around 2pm for an hour.
Best day of the year and 2nd Hawaii, + 0.43 O's
Passed January's total today. Still away to go to pass Feb even before we consider March Estimate.

19.9kWh. That's a record. 4.48 O's
I should probably press for a new measure of full inverter output. I's perhaps.
That would be 5.53 I's2 -

Hello,As my enthusiasm for OVO is rapidly waning following the move from SSE - achieved a 7 month record waiting for FIT payments recently - I would be pleased to learn about your experience with your chosen Licensee and whether you are on deemed export or smart meter 1/2 hourly readings. I have a 20kW wind turbine which OVO don't seem to understand actually generates considerably more kWh than solar so my regular received response from OVO is “The reading you’re trying to submit is higher than we would expect”. For example as of 19:00hrs today 22 March the turbine has generated 250 kWh since midnight and it hasn't been particularly windy (or sunny !). My autumn/winter generation is circa 10,000 kWh per quarter and a bit less in the quieter spring/summer quarters. These generation figures give me a bit of a choice dilemma when I read the various export tariffs that e.g. Octopus have available as they are almost certainly smart meter based. My electrical setup is split phase so I will need a polyphase meter which appear to be as rare as hens teeth at the moment, so I will need to be able to retain deemed export until such time that these meters are available. Grateful for any transfer tips or suggestions you could share.Kind Regards0
