A pretty respectable 3.37 Os today (November PVGIS is 1.37 Os), but on the 2nd November I have now exceeded my highest ever total for a whole year! :j:j:j
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.

2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

Couple of good days here, so some pointless but fun comparisons.

Target gen for the rest of the year is only 200kWh's. Already ahead of end of year for 2016 & 2017, and just about matching 2013. Only need another 80kWh to match 2015, but need the rest of year to be average to match 2014 (my best year to date).

Weather forecast for next week, very poor.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

We ended up with 99% of PVGIS estimate for October. Better than last October though.

The last few days of October, with sunny clear skies in the morning did not help with no clouds to bounce the light off. Just get peaks at midday now, before the sun goes behind the mountain.

Just over 0.5 O's for yesterday.

Two O's today so nicely above the November average of 1.15.
At 1 pm today Renewables were generating 42% of the Grid demand and even now with Solar out of the equation its 33%.
If only we could get a tidal source into the mix!

All the same, it's interesting to see so many storage facilities aligned to Wind and Solar coming on stream in the next year or so!
