6 today, and 4.3 yesterday, so picked up a bit, and end of month prediction has risen from 87% to 94% over the last week.

Forecast for early Dec looks quite nice.

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

Thought it was 4.71kWh yesterday? Every 0.01kWh counts..:D
    You trust this "gizmo?"

"Tell me do you understand these figures ?"
"Well I dunno about that but I can tell you that when this little green light is on we are making electricity !"
Trust it as far as I can see it, which is from quite a long way away. (big numbers):rotfl:
Old Aurora gizmo gave 7.5kWh ( This is going back as unfit for purpose for exchange to Wattson, which has already been supplied).
    Wattson 5.139kWh.

On comparison of the two, Wattson gives more info, current usage, grid, solar and all display colour as to negative, normal, average or high use, can't fault it. Will do a test over a month in December to compare usage to actual. Will post in January..

Todays result 5.1 kWh. from Gen Meter.
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

    4.4kWh today
    2.1kWh yesterday.
Gonna miss PVGIS for the month after a good start:(
16 Sanyo Hit 250s.4kWp SMA 3.8kWp inverter. SW roof. 28° pitch. Minimal shade. Nov 2011 install. Hybrid car. Ripple Kirk Hill. N.E Lincs Coast.
  • 4 kwh yesterday and 4 kwh today

Sadly shading and steep roof combo is really coming into play at Cavemanu towers this month, we've only achieved 79% of total estimated, unlikely to make that up by end of the month (only 22kwh short of estimate  eek!) Roll on February!

Have just submitted our 4th FIT reading to EON by email following a very kind email reminder from them earlier this week.

Hope they are able to make a prompt payment again this quarter, like they did when I called up with Q3 readings..... after the very long wait for Q2 FIT payment.

The £350 or so FIT payment should come in handy for the next batch of bills looming on the dull skies horizon!
  • 5.5kWh today taking me over my PVGIS target for the month by 0.45% :D

    112.5 generated this month.

Haven't posted for a while because it's been too depressing but here goes:

    Mon: 1.29kWh
    Tue: 0.23kWh
    Wed: 0.36kWh
    Thu: 3.47kWh
    Fri: 3.89kWh

So, two decent days to finish a lacklustre month and I've made 72.56kWh in November, just a fraction over PVGIS estimate (71.7) but well below PVGIS Climate (81.5). Mind you I only got 61.46 last year. Hoping for more sunshine in December.
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.
