January forecast has snuck over 100% again, but there's 3 days of grey and rain forecast, and I still need another 10kWh.Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

What are O's?
We had a 4kW PV system fitted March two years ago. Our Spalding, Lincolnshire's bungalow roof is just a few degrees East of directly South facing. The first anniversary reading was 4245.33kWh. I am hoping that this March we will at least match that.
We also have any excess energy generated diverted to our immersion heater before it gores to the grid. Last year we did not need our gas on between the end of April and end of October. Ebico was handy here as they do not have a daily charge.
I will be looking at an electric car later this year when my Mum's estate is settled. I have done some reading and decided I want the Nissan Leaf replacement. If that vehicle is not out by the time I get the money, it will be a 30kWh Leaf as I can manage with its restrictions. It will mean I have to have a comfort/charging break en route to either of our daughters but I can live with that. Also, when we drive the 280 miles down to Teignmouth it will mean three stops. Again, I can live with that.
I hope the C2G http://www.electricnation.org.uk/trial-details/ trial is still on when I get the car. Failing that I will be able to afford battery storage. I shall also be moving to Ecotricity once my present contract is up so that I can benefit from their offer of 52 free EV charges per year. I also like the idea of their grass digesters to produce renewable gas.
My last toy will be a recycling shower where the used water is trapped, filtered and used again saving both water and electricity. The mind of the bigot is like the pupil of the eye; the more light you pour upon it, the more it will contract.

As you say, you'd only get 52 'free' charges. If you were confident of using all 52 you could perhaps justify paying £300 more to Ecotricity than to any other supplier. If not, then I have calculated that paying £6 every 60 miles or so is actually dearer than using my diesel car for long trips. Perhaps more economical if you get a car with a larger battery than mine of course.NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -

It's a system used by some (99.999% of) contributors to this page who believe that dividing their daily generation in kWh by their system rating in kWp will make their results more comparable with other posters. There are however huge errors in ignoring orientation of individual installations ! (as with posting in kWh)...:rotfl:Monday 1.25 O's

Since there are well less than 100,000 contributors to this topic and more than 1 who can appreciate the flaws in its logic your assertion is clearly flawed !NE Derbyshire.4kWp S Facing 17.5deg slope (dormer roof).24kWh of Pylontech batteries with Lux controller BEV : Hyundai Ioniq50 -
FYI, 99.999% would mean that one person disagreed whilst 99,999 agreed with your system.
