I`d be lying if I said Oscar. I remember when I first got the installer to visit that the consumer box was the old style (fuse wire) and they were renewing that as part of their work scope, I think they put in an MCB. Do you have some thoughts?
    Cheers

Okay, I am no electrician, (or Magician) a modern board, I think, has two sections; one side is connected via an RCD the other an MCB. When your faulty system trips on the CU, does it take anything else out with it? ie. things like 13 amp wall socket connected appliances? Or does it just trip a single trip switch on the new board?

    Score on the door today....4.2 O's Honest..:rotfl:...coffee.gif

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

It doesn`t actually trip out, it remains powered, it just states on the "Events" menu "PV1 Isolation Fault" with a time stamp....the time is always about 5 to 6am when the panels detect some light and the inverter tries to kick off but fails. It works perfectly fine at the moment when there hasn`t been heavy rain.

Sorry, can't help then. My Aurora Inverter shows on the menu a Riso and Ileak reading. these vary with rain. I had my Inverter moved off an RCD connection on to the MCB side; as any earth leak would trip out all 13 amp sockets in the house 3-4 times a year.....:(
