You posted this 3 days ago but I believe today is the longest day (and therefore the highest Sun arc) of 2016 (at least in our hemisphere :)).

No the new Inverter didn`t fix the problem, it really looks like water ingress into the connections is the issue.
But his system is over 2 years old so if nothing else atleast he got a new inverter out of it!
Tell me Shavy - is the faulty system connected via an RCD or MCB in the circuit board.?

Have read today's generation but seems lower than expectations, despite Wattson reporting 3.945 's (not usual to be that far out) ....0.76 O's the meter reading gave...Could be time for a Generation Meter check......coffee.gif

Edit: Correction - 4.2 O's was the correct result; forgot I had put a reading in the XL sheet earlier.......:o..:rotfl:

Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

Quite right ! Most years the Summer Solstice happens on 21st June but in a leap year we've slipped in an extra day since the Winter Solstice.

I now have some sympathy (but not a lot) with the electrician trying to diagnose the fault. Has he changed the isolator ? That would seem an obvious thing to do in response to a fault code saying isolation fault and a lot cheaper, quicker and easier than changing the inverter

Well the Inverter is already changed. They haven`t tried changing anything else yet, the guy claimed the moisture in the connections was definitely the issue apparently.
Anyway, it`s dry at the moment so he`ll be ok

I`d be lying if I said Oscar. I remember when I first got the installer to visit that the consumer box was the old style (fuse wire) and they were renewing that as part of their work scope, I think they put in an MCB. Do you have some thoughts?

    Cheers
