    3.3 Os today.
Slipping behind every day now. 250kWh against 274kWh target at this point.

    Nearly a good 'snap'...3.32 O's for me...coffee.gif
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

He really needs to look at the PVGIS website, get a good idea of what generation their incompetence has cost him and submit a claim for the FIT payments that he's missed.

We have nearly identical systems, he checks my readings with his every day, he`s lost out on maybe a few pounds at the most over the last few weeks or so. Even when there`s not been heavy rain he doesn`t seem to start generating til usually half an hour after me.

It's a very odd sort of moisture related fault if it cures itself the instant the rain eases off ! What I would expect to happen is moisture in the joints causing an 'earth leak trip' when the system would stay disconnected until the circuit breaker had been reset manually - which in turn wouldn't usually be possible until the joint had dried out completely (which might take several hours unless item disconnected, wiped dry & refitted).

I now have some sympathy (but not a lot) with the electrician trying to diagnose the fault. Has he changed the isolator ? That would seem an obvious thing to do in response to a fault code saying isolation fault and a lot cheaper, quicker and easier than changing the inverter
