  • 12.5kWh today (albeit a piddly 30W still being generated) and the ImmerSUN surpassed 100kWh cumulatively with a 6.0kWh utilisation today (so used a shade under 50% generation). I'll update my ImmerSUN stats on my other thread at the end of it's first month, but so far it's diverted 38% of our generation into the immersion.

    7.2 kWh today..not too bad. Went from 100 W - 2kW between clouds..:rotfl:
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

You all did well yesterday, I only got 3.67kWh :(
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.
  • Dunno what my generation is as in the Maldives.

If only I could move my panels here $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$

    ;)
  • I've just celebrated the second anniversary of the installation of my solar panels. My original objective for installing them was for the feed in tariff and export payments to cover the cost of my annual gas and electricity bills with any surplus being used to pay for any system maintenance that is required.

So how have they performed so far?

    Year 1
    1331 kWh generated
£589.24 FiT and export payments received
£419.59 spent on gas and electricity
    £0 spent on system maintenance
    £169.65 annual surplus

    Year 2
    1325 kWh generated
£613.96 FiT and export payments received
£40.00 late FiT payment compensation received
£421.03 spent on gas and electricity
    £0 spent on system maintenance
    £232.93 annual surplus

Overall surplus to date is £402.58 (excluding interest).

So far so good but who knows how energy prices and inflation will pan out during the next two decades (or how the weather behaves).

    Very consistent numbers there GH.

Any room for a PV extension? :)
