    Hi

    8.10kwh today....
  • Not quite a 20, but happy with a 19kWh just like yesterday. Two more days like that needed to hit our PVGIS estimate for Sept

Dare I say it Sept may be our 3rd best month after May & July at this rate? Oops I just did.

Everything will be alright in the end so, if it’s not yet alright, it means it’s not yet the end

Tuesday 8.78kWh, Wednesday 7.39kWh, will hit September PVGIS classic total today, but a few more decent days needed before I hit PVGIS climate.

Same here. The main question for me now is whether Sept will be either the best month so far or just the biggest % above expected generation.

I seem to remember posts about last year being very sunny in Sept/Oct so is this becoming a trend of better production in Autumn than summer?
Remember the saying: if it looks too good to be true it almost certainly is.

88kWh for the last 7 days.
    14.27kWh yesterday:D
    Sept daily average 13.7kWh
Gen meter cert says 3206kWh for year.
Should hit that by Saturday, with over 7 wks to spare:rotfl:

    Hi legoman62,

Do you mean the MCS certificate estimate? In which case that will be based on the SAP model which ignores regional climate variations in the UK. Unless you happen to live in Sheffield, you'll get a better estimate by using the PVGIS Classic or Climate-SAF models (see the FAQ thread for links).

We sailed past the SAP estimate (2951kWh) in August, the PVGIS Classic estimate (3200kWh) a couple of days ago and should beat PVGIS Climate-SAF estimate (3260kWh) tomorrow unless its a stinker of a day. We've got a month to go until our install anniversary.

    Quarterly gen for mid-May - mid-Aug 2011 & mid-Aug - mid-Nov 2011 was just about equal (744 & 741 kWh)

    Best quarter so far though was mid-May - mid-Aug 2012 (885kWh)

Best month so far was May 2011 (340kWh gen) followed by April 2011 (318kWh) and then June 2011 (307kWh),
but biggest % above predicted generation was Dec 11 - (169.7%) followed by Oct 2011 (157.8%) and then April 2011 (147.7%)

So, if I had to pick one overall 'best' month, so far, it would have to be April 2011, 2nd highest kWh generated and 3rd highest % above predicted generation.

More months like April 2011 please! :)

April 2011 was an exceptional month, the warmest April ever recorded (possibly the sunniest as well).

Yes, I did mean the MCS cert.
I did try PVGIS using Classic model with standard settings + roof angle and orientation.
The numbers changed to 3250kWh so, not a lot of difference.
Only 2 hrs sunshine today..dull and rainy hence 7.33kWh:(
Got to go...Mrs l has just turned the gas fire on:D
