April 2011 was an exceptional month, the warmest April ever recorded (possibly the sunniest as well).
Indeed! And it would be wonderful if we could have more months just like it :)

  • In spring time we celebrate "carnival" = good bye to meat, historically facing hunger because last year's food is running out.

So let us celebrate "harvest festival" this weekend as equinox portends Michaelmas and the end of our farming year.

My 3.6 kW system, installed of St Valentine's day, will be clocking up its 3,000 kWh of generation today as long as we don't get fog or snow.

Two good excuses to raise a glass.

We'll surpass PVGIS Climate-SAF (3060kwh) today, with a fraction under a month to our install anniversary.

Just reached our September target for the month with another 8 days left for a little bit extra hopefully!

Despite a lot of cloud around midday, a respectable 17 kwh so far generated today, which might help make up for yesterdays paltry 3 kwh total here in Nottingham!

Another 188 kwh to go before we reach our annual forecasted target generation. Installed in late november 2011.

It would be unusual to get 10% of your total annual output in late September/October, but good luck to you anyway!

From the sublime to the ... 0.81kWh. Yes, 0.81kWh. That is the worst day since 4th March.

  • 0.53kWh for me, my lowest ever. First time I've seen my inverter drop out during the day too. Such crap weather today (not far from KevinG, just north of West Sussex, still the first proper fire in the woodburner this afternoon which compensated a lot.
