OK my signature should be updated now. Very slow start down here today, as it has been cloudy all morning.
My production will be a little down at the moment as the scaffolding is still up and casts shadows on the panels at present.

Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

    Hi All,
I'm trying to help my b-I-law in South Wales who has only now decided to get solar pv !
His first quote for a 3kw system was £7500 !!! and I told him that was way over the top.
He's just emailed me a quote from a Bristol company - Sunlight Future for £5500.
Having just looked at the quote I'm very surprised that they are basing his production figures on a property near Lulsgate ( by Bristol Airport !!).
It's been a while but I thought that companies had to produce a projected production forecast when giving pv quotes now ?
I haven't managed to speak to my b I l yet but wanted to ask - anyone dealt with this company and is this sort of quote the norm nowadays ?
It could be that this has been produced on the basis of a phone enquiry only - then I could possibly understand so I don't want to slate the company completely until I know for sure.
    Cheers ....Nobby.
