Try this for size, http://suncalc.net/#/53.8008,-1.5491,11/2015.04.18/13:59 the location may not fit, but the rest might. Use find my location button if your lost....:D

    Only 4.52 O's today....coffee.gif

Decided we are slightly more W of S than I estimated (16 degrees S f W rather than 22.5) This has changed my pvgis for July to 468 from 475 (ie b all difference) and means I can report 110% in my first month, trying to find some local sunshine data but it isn't available yet.

(I was even out on the roof earlier with the kids protractor checking 35 pitch was indeed a best guess)

I am now thinking monitoring actual exports would be useful. I have a sensor for the iboost so it should be possible, I also have one of the eon sensors/displays mentioned in other threads but don't know if this is enough equipment to monitor actual exports?

Edit: Exactly 4 Os to kick off August.
    I think....

4.3 O's yesterday, not bad considering the cloud and drizzle!

Before anyone else tries this 'tip' , can I just point out that it's much easier, far safer and probably more accurate to go up in the attic and measure the angle of the roof trusses.

Now I'm sort of back in the land of the living (hangover nearly gone!), JUly figures are:

    July '15 486/442 so 110% of target
    July '14 511/442, 115% of target.

Best day of the month was 3/7, with 6.64 ho's.

Shows how funny the weather was, we actually used 4m³ of gas, for hot water and flashing the heating - becasue the ice queen was "chilly"!
Total gas bill for July was £4.26, which includes £2.93 in standing charges.
Electric is £37 something for the month, all in. As it's summer and both basement dwellers are off college, and the current Mrs theboylard has finished for the summer break, our leccy use does increase slightly.
4kWp, SSE, SolarEdge P300 optimisers & SE3500 Inverter, in occasionally sunny Corby, Northants.
Now with added Sunsynk 5kw hybrid ecco inverter & 15kWh Fogstar batteries. Oh Octopus Energy too.

Wattson results differ significantly from the accurate figures. But clearly I am using 50% of solar generation as a replacement for grid imported electricity and 25% of solar generation as a replacement for gas. Export is 25%.

According to Wattson I made 466.82 kWh in July....99.15%

    Gen meter say's 470.8 kWh:)

Wattson also say's I used 402.9 kWh over same period.

Leccy meter say's 115 kWh used (paid for):T

Also, Gas meter stayed on same numbers as June:D

    hi all

106% for July, it wasn't a very good month at all really so i'm surprised to achieve 106%, verified by meter reads.

Still going today but probably not going to do much more than 4.48 O's that its currently reading at. Only doing 150watts at the moment.

With a 50 degree angle on the panels i'm hoping to get fairly strong performance as the sun begins to dip a bit more.
