    3.55 Os today

Another mixed day, thankful for the broken clouds before the dull skies and rain came at 3:30pm

Checked the last week, electricity savings at least halved, gas is also nearly halved due to iboost and generation is nearly on target, slightly under due to unusually cloudy days. On the flip side I'm 20% up on a near identical array 5 miles away.

Well, I now have my Solar panels fitted. Many thanks to all who helped me in my Quest to get what I wanted, not what they- the installers - wanted to fit. It was a big help to have a Forum with people willing to offer help and advice to a complete Newbie with regards to Solar panels.

My top tip would be to get plenty of quotes and do your homework, then double check/triple check everything you have been told, do not believe some of the money generation figures you get told. Hopefully the signature at the bottom of this post will give everyone the details of the system!

My first full day, yesterday, was 3.66 O's, I believe that is known as a Typhooo.

    Hello Mark

    Welcome to another solar-geek.

I love these boards and the over-the-top pursuits of some correspondents. I particularly admire the fellow poster who climbed his roof to inspect his newly installed panels for scratches: a man after my own heart :D. Nonetheless, Humpty is only too aware of the dire consequences that could arise from climbing walls.
I have osteoarthritis in my hands so I speak my messages into a microphone using Dragon. Some people make "typos" but I often make "speakos".
