I'm really struggling with the new look. I can't stand the glare on my laptop and it's too fiddly from the iPhone because it's nearly impossible to scroll the screen without accidentally clicking one of the many links!

May knock posting on the head here after end of month tomorrow.

Anyway, tomorrow weather looks reasonable then sadly our good run ends as the first week of May is look rather unsettled.

Can you opt 'to switch back', as I have?

I'm hoping the option will remain, but it's probably time sensitive. I would try to learn more by reading what's behind the "Read more info here" but all I get is a message saying I don't have permission to access this page ....... that seems a little cheeky, after inviting me to try!

    24.2kWhs today, or 4.34 O's, so now predicting 600+ for April. :j

    Mart.
Mart. Cardiff. 8.72 kWp PV systems (2.12 SSW 4.6 ESE & 2.0 WNW). 20kWh battery storage. Two A2A units for cleaner heating. Two BEV's for cleaner driving.

For general PV advice please see the PV FAQ thread on the Green & Ethical Board.

    Mart.

What new look would that be? Mine is still the same: perhaps XP and windows 7 (and Eric, bless) does not accept change....:rotfl::rotfl:
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax: B)

Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).

I've been busy doing other things this afternoon & evening so this is my first visit since lunch.

My view of forum page looks pretty much the same as it did this morning (& most other mornings) - though perhaps the page is a little whiter than usual. But I suspect that what will have happened is that some infernal meddler @ MSE Towers has been whiling away a quiet afternoon trying to find an even worse format and (hopefully !) was told to put it back before he/she went home.

The toggle doesn't do anything sadly - much like the more info link?!

The writing isn't even black, it's grey on a white background for heavens sake.
With bleary morning eyes it's taken me several minutes to focus on the page to find the quote button!

For those saying it's no different - seems not everyone is getting the new look at the same time. You'll know when you do as it's SO different & bloody awful! Mine is still all white & crap this morning.

    Panic over for now!

If you go in to your profile and select "edit options", towards the bottom of the list you can shoose your own "skin" and from that list I've selected the old design, which works. So I can eek a bit more time out of the site. If it becomes permanent grey on white though I'm out, before the screen gives me cateracts or something

On closer inspection, my page was indeed grey writing on a white background - though I can't honestly say I ever remember it as being black writing on anything other than white background.

I've tried editing my profile options to make it 'old look with new masthead' but the only difference that seems to have made is that I now have clearer divisions between individual postings - but I'll stick with that in the hopes that if 'forum default' keeps using experimental formatting I'll not be troubled.

Six and a bit Os for me today, bringing April to a close at 122% of PV estimate. However, a dry spring doth make a wet summer (he says, cheerful as ever).
