Think we will have to wait at least another 31 days.....:rotfl:

Nah, May won't thrash records like April has. We'll be having hosepipe bans by June if it does. :rotfl:

I recorded just 12mm of rain throughout the whole of April - 1/3rd of that fell in a downpour about 8am yesterday morning and I still nearly made it to 7th Heaven!

416 kwh for the month, target was 336kwh so 124% of pvgis target.
3.64KW system, aurora power one inverter, South west facing with no shading in Lancashire.

Finished April with a shade below a Hawaii, giving a total for the month of 251.49 kWh (125.745 Os), easily my best April. 15.4% above SAF PVGIS, not as impressive as some of the figures posted, but good enough for me. My fourth best month, beaten by June and July 2014 and July 2013.

    April 2014: 206.00 kWh
    April 2013: 206.86 kWh
    April 2012: 193.46 kWh
2kWp Solar PV - 10*200W Kioto, SMA Sunny Boy 2000HF, SSE facing, some shading in winter, 37° pitch, installed Jun-2011, inverter replaced Sep-2017 AND Feb-2022.

In April, I beat my PVGIS target for the the first time. 451/376 = 120%.

I am learning more about the effects of my easterly tree shading. I think this explains why my performance is averagely poorer than most other contributors. This picture of a good day illustrates well the constraints of my installation.

You must have "snakes hands". You got to the keyboard seconds before I had corrected. I will be in your shade as usual, my easterly friend, how did you do in terms performance relative to PVGIS?

Not a great day today - well, my worst for a while.

    A typhoo (3.1 O's 12.2 kWh)

The worst thing is that I'm sat here cold, wondering if I might well reach for the heating controls again. :o
