So, it's mid-day, the Sun is shining bright and I've got oodlings of electrons going into the grid.
I've got nothing else to use all this power for today :rotfl:
Lawn is cut, laundry is finished, no heating required and hot water tank is reheated after my shower. I've even nuked my lunch.
First time this year I've not been able to make use of all the PV I've generated!0 -
.... Today marks my first Hawaii of the year! 3 days earlier than last year!3.924kWp (12X327Wp SunPower). SolarEdge SE3500 inverter.
Surrey/SE. 30 degree roof pitch, chimney shading from mid afternoon.0 -

My third Hawaii of the year.
5.87 kWh (23 kWh)
Odd how the weather suddenly changed today. High temp of 21C today, following months of very much cooler weather.
Driving down the M5 just now I could see Fog rolling in from the Bristol Channel. no doubt caused by the sudden temperature contrast.
Still light here, but system winding down now as on the wrong side of the house for evening Sun.0 -

Topped the 25kWh and got a whopping 5.28 Os on the SSE system. Indeed, the seventh best yield ever - def a good decision to move the TV aerial. Not so good on the other system - just 4.5 O - but still a good day.
Did the dishwasher and shoved 14.5kWh through the diverters. 4.5kWh into the hot water and 10kWh into space heating. Still nice and warm and no need for the gas CH.0 -
Been over to lego's land on the coast today, it was sunny when I set off then clouded over on way before breaking up in the afternoon over there.
Just walked in and found combined 4.6 O's(30kWh) helped on by SSW(5.65 O's) & ESE (5.5 O's)
Sadly with not being in...most of it went back to the grid...still, adds up to over a tenner today...i'll live with that
2 kWp SEbE , 2kWp SSW & 2.5kWp NWbW.....in sunny North Derbyshire17.7kWh Givenergy battery added(for the power hungry kids)0 -
Not the best of mornings here with thick mist until around 11:00. Hence the poor result of a/an Hawaii + 1.16 O's not too bad under the weather conditions......
..
.....
2.5 kWp PV system, SSW facing, 45 Deg Roof. ABB Inverter, Monitor: 'Wattson'.
Reg. for FIT Nov 2011. "It's not what you generate; it's how you use it that matters". One very clean Vauxhall Diesel Sri, £30.00 Road Tax:
Definition of 'O's = kWh/kWp (kWh = your daily & accurate Generation figure) (kWp = the rated output of your PV Panels).0
