Telephone and internet problems please help.

We tried that last night. The phone works plugged directly into the faceplate. It works with the microfilter too but as soon as i plug the dsl cable into the microfilter it stops working.
Have you tried a different filter?...also swap the ends of the dsl cable around.What internet service are you on?0 -

I found the microfilter from my old router and tried that and it's working again now.0 -
