    begin grumble......

Asda suck. Since they've introduced their new 'smart price' packaging, it seems to have been a queue to push up prices on their bottom end cheap stuff - that's the stuff poor people like me buy.

Take the pictured cheese slices for example. Over the last 12-18 months they've hovered around 46p, 48p, 50p area. Change the packaging and they put it up to 64p. A 28% price hike in a week.

As for the APG - what a cracker. It's amazing that one week when items are cheaper elsewhere they can't compare them, yet the following week when the competitor happens to be a few pence more suddenly they can.

Success with the APG means two separate trolleys. ANYTHING that is on offer goes in the first one, all normal price stuff in the second. Pay separately - it's well worth the hassle.

ASDA, jacking up the pennies hoping you won't notice, bringing in the pounds.......

    End of grumble........
