LED or Plasama

Hello,
I am having my tv replaced (issues were highlighted in another thread as to my problems) so I want to know what is better to get, LED or Plasma.
The tv is going back to Comet and I have £500 to spend. The tv that is going back is a Panasonic 42 inch plasma, good tv except it made a buzzing noise that was audiable when watching with normal volume on. The tv I had before that was a 40inch Samsung LED, no buzzing but the motion blur was horrendous.
So, I am looking for a full HD, 40 to 42 inch tv with no motion blur and no buzzing, what would be best for my budget from Comet?
Thanks

For picture quality Plasma is the clear winner.
LCD/LED (same tech just lighting is different) has its advantages but they are in terms of lighter, lower energy consumption, matt screen, brighter.
If you have a room that isnt too bright and wont suffer from reflections on the screen I'd go for a plasma every time. If the room is bright or you're going to struggle with reflections then I'd go with LED0 -
We have this one http://www.comet.co.uk/p/Plasma-TVs/buy-SAMSUNG-PS43E490-Plasma-TV/789968
We are very pleased with it, we have it in the lounge with a big window at 90 degrees to it and don't have a problem. It has dynamic picture mode which means it is easy to watch in bright conditions.
They do it in non-3D too but not sure if the picture is as good

3D is a complete waste of time IMHO0 -
I think I am going to go with this one

But I just hope it doesn't buzz like the last one, which was a TX-P42U20B0 -

I'd spend the whole £500 if you have a credit line with them. Comet will soon go pop...0 -

You can get the TV online for £400, would give you a £100 to spend on other stuff.
Comet is almost always much more expensive.0
