I have just applied for a contract and they say it's instant decision after I had gone through all the questions and waited for the network decision it came up in green and said thank you for your order and I have the cinfimatuon email so I also applied for one for my husband with orange and did the same again but orange one came back in red and said sorry the network have declined

So does that mean I have passed for the 1st contract with 02 and not with Vodafone

Orange or Vodafone? Yes, you were accepted for the first and declined for the second:

• it's a norm for different networks to have different criteria for accepting;
• the criteria depend on the contract you apply for;
• every application leaves a credit search mark in your credit file(s) that negatively affects the future applications during several months.

So the first one with 02 I have passed the credit check and the second I have faild or will they be doing more checks for the 02 one I'm confued

It was O2 who did the check and accepted you.
O2 don't care if later you apply for Orange/Vodafone contract.

That said, Affordable mobiles reserve the right to request any further proofs from you before processing the order.
