It's probably worth making the standard comment that you'll be fine to eat them for several years yet, so there's no need to panic too much.0

only help I could offer is throw them at the kids and make them bin them :rotfl:
I hate that stuff
my DS lived on it for years, cant stand the smell of it now:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0 -
Can you not swap a tin of spaghetti with a tin of beans/sweetcorn with your family/friends? and as someone has already said, it will keep longer than the dat on the tin!!0
-
how about making ministrone soup or spag bol?
second doing a swap with someone if you can.0 -
Puree it and hide it in things like spag bol and chilli and maybe even a stew:heartpulsOnce a Flylady, always a Flylady:heartpuls0

Tinned spaghetti on toast, topped with melted cheese and grilled until it's crispy is probably one of my ultimate comfort foods lol0
-
fish finger pie,
grill fish fingers and place in an oven dish, top with spaghetti, then top with mash and cheese! My little girl loves this and it's cheap and cheerful
and really filling.
Marriages are made in heaven, but then again so is thunder and lightning!!!.....getting divorced lol :j

I have at least half a dozen tins of this from when ds would eat it but he can't seem to stand the texture now. Will have to read that thread and get some ideas.GC 2023 June £72/500 NSDs 1/100

Many people get confused between "use by" and "best before" dates on food. "use by" means you should use the food by that date or the food will spoil, and even worse you could risk food poisoning. But "Best Before" appears on non-perishables and tinned goods, it means that although the quality of the food may be affected (i.e. it may not have the same taste quality) the safety of the food will not be compromised. I have used tinned food that are years out of date and they tasted great.0

I have just looked in the cupboard as it is full but we have nothing to eat (other half) Discovering 14 cans of smartprice spaghetti. I hate the stuff, short of throwing it at passing motorists what else can I do? I have read all the other helpful posts but nothing has really inspired me yet.
I am very good at eating and trying food abroad, but have yet to find anything as disgusting as canned spaghetti. I wondered what it would be like with deconstructed horse burger:DMy names not Bill but I am from Beverley0
