So, to answer this then - is my first step to call the loan providers?

    Hi all

    So, an update.

It appears I did have PPI with Egg, so now I want to write to them to reclaim.

I've been to the link below on how to reclaim, expecting to see a letter template, however it looks like it's a form from the Ombudsman. Is that what I need to send to them?

Interestingly, I chased Natwest this morning as well, and they informed me that they have just changed their processes, and you no longer need to pay £10 to get old paperwork. You just call them, and they will request it internally - I then need to call back in 4-5 weeks.

    Thanks

It is the Ombudsmans form, remember to make a copy in case you have to send this to FOS.

    Thanks.

One last question before I send it to my lender. Do I have to include any paperwork other than the form, as I have none of it due to it being so long ago?

    Thanks

Obviously, supporting paperwork will help your case, but it's not essential.
