I've not seen anyone being smug. OP asked for advice in a different thread, got it, went ahead anyway, and is being told frankly that it is was silly to go ahead and do what they had already realised was a bad thing.

The OP asks us whether we think 'no-chance-of-a-loan-4-U.co.uk' is genuine AFTER they have handed the dosh over. The chances of a sympathetic response are going to be close to zero, so the only question is how people will deliver that message.

One mans straight-talking is anothers rudeness. Thats my interpretation

if you want to weed out foreign sites search for sites only from the uk.

i have just posted a new thread about this.



another way to check them out is to do a who is lookup on the website owner.

this will let you see who owns the site and which country they are in.

google 'who is' and enter the name of the website in one of the sites that comes up, but be sure to check out the actual website name, not what comes up in the description, as many sites use other sites names in their description to boost their traffic.

It's better to think you are clever,than to demonstrate you are not.

That's just my interpretation though
