I haven't watched this weeks episode yet, but I'm enjoying the series. Actually, all the talk early on about sourdough inspired me to give it another go. I make all my own bread, but the only other time I tried sourdough was a few years ago, and boy! It was sour
I've loveingly nurtured my starter for the past 2 weeks, using it for first time today. And it's lovely :j :j A very crispy crust and light and fluffy inside. I'm soo pleased.
How is everyone else getting on with their bread making?
nite, nite all.
Sleep well.

Crikey! How rude are you?
A person having an opinion which does not accord with your own does not make them wrong and does not entitle you to be bloody rude to them.
This part of the forum is a nice, friendly place, at least it was, and I don't think you're going to fit in here at all. I think you might find kindred spirits much more suited to your posting-style over in the Arms.0 -

I have to agree with you. I stick to the OS forum because everyone is friendly and helpful and not rude to each other.0 -
i haven't watched this yet but now i'm excited for a traditional pretzel recipe! you can use bicarb instead of lime though i don't bother, most recipes are fine without.
The wrist action they used to make the pretzels looks quite complicated - I'm sure I'd end up with some weird shapes!
There's a recipe here http://allrecipes.com/recipe/mall-pretzels/0 -
oh set it to tape the whole series, i think this is the 1st time he's ever watched a cookery programme, he's really enjoying it (me too!)0
