I just saw it in iplayer, so uplifting and cheery. Stunning scenery and lovely people. I recommended it to dh and he watched it after me, lol I could hear him chuckling. While he was watching I got my sourdough starter out of the fridge and fed it with flour and water and I have resolved to go back to my old way of gentleness and paddling, not a relatively quickie in the breadmaker. I particularly liked the way they put olive oil and salt on the outside, so I`ll do that in future too. I have thyme in the garden so thyme and olive bread coming up in a few days as my starter needs to get lively first
I also got some chelsea bun yeast dough going and used milk instead of water, it is now slowly rising in the fridge all night. I have prepared butter with cinnemon, sultanas are soaking in rum and flaked almonds in a dish. I am going to make a version of those buns ie spread everything and roll it up and then slice it. Lol, I`ll have to make room in the freezer as I am using 36oz flour for the buns, I got carried away
I am getting the book when I see it0 -
It all looked delicious and totally up my street! Feeling inspired to persevere with my sourdough now

I never thought I'd say this, but I so want to go to Belgium now. Did you see the chocolate shop?? And those amazing chocolates?0

Missed it tonight, will have to watch it on I-Player.
I spent a day in Belgium when I went on a school trip and saw chocolate shops. They were a wonder to behold to a 13 year old girl!0 -
oh s*d it I knew I meant to record something tonight - grrrrrr.
Loved last weeks one, nearly wet myself with the jacuzi bit and when they came out of the ice bar - brilliant.

I found this week's a disappointment and I'm getting rather tired of their endless cheery banter and hamming it up for the cameras. Not enough baking this week either0
