GiffGaff -- too good to be true?

Ive been with GG for a month now, and thought the service was superb. Ported number across and it only took 1 day, and all done online. Bought a goodbag, then discovered it wouldnt work abroad, but found out you had to buy additional credit for roaming to work. No complaints so far, really impressed with GG.

Thier network should be ok because the backbone is O2. Typically it seems that support from mobile phone networks across the board is pretty poor unfortunately.

You don't say if you did try the sim in another phone and did it work?

My mum recently changed to GG and ported her number with no problems.
Sorry that you're experiencing problems though, stick with it, once you're up and running all will be well :-)

Sorry I can't comment on Giffgaff, but if you do decide to leave GG, do have a look a the Tesco sim only deals! I'll bet the £40 pcm included a phone. I've just moved to a Tesco sim only deal and their prices are very good, and quite comparable to GG.

GG - £10pcm = 250 mins, unlimited texts, unlimited mobile data
Tesco - £10pcm = 250 mins, 5000 texts, 1GB data (on their 12 month deal)
