hi does anyone know of veg box deliveries for the grimsby and cleethorpes area, i have seached but cant find any!
wanting to try a box to see if it works out cheaper for us as we spend at least£10 a week on fruit and veg and always get the same stuff so this might help us to try some other fruit and veg0 -

Don't know if they go where you are based in Shropshire. Always been pleased with the quality and quantities, although I am tempted to try boxfresh just to see how the qualities/quantities compare.:hello:0 -

Hi
i've been using Abel & Cole for a few months and i love getting my fruit and veg box each week, as someone else said it is like christmas each week. i also get my bread, milk and eggs from them. The bread is fantasitc.
What swung it for me was being able to put down what i didn't like so that i knew that i wasn't going to have it in my box.
Also on the website are lots of recipes for the vegetables - these are great.
i actually spend less money on shopping now as i don't need to go to the supermarket very often now and so don't buy 'extras' (my freezer is full of meat from the butchers).
i get the small box and that is just the right size for me for the week, but if i'm having people to stay for the weekend, i just get the larger box.
Which ever company you go for - enjoy!0 -
Hi,
I did try a Veg box delivery for a few weeks last year from memory a company called Harvest?
£15.00 box veg was really good, just one query though i found that there was not enough for a family of 4 just to explain :
3 carrots - for a meal
i did query it at the time and was told they go by weight of the box ?
does anyone know of any other companys i could look into.£2 Pig has £86 in his Tummy. I am seriuosly Become a O/S Saver0
