Like oldbill says, best off leaving it to the police, assuming they will get involved. If you were to go a neighbour and demand the phone, and they say have no idea what you on about, what are going to then, accusse them of stealing. If that happens you could be the one getting a visit from the police.

Like has been said on here many times, RD isnt worth the paper it is written on.

Did you buy this phone ebay then ?, as you say in one of your posts that this is a contract phone.

no it was of e2save but i wasn’t going to go round and say u have my phone give it back. i was just going to ask if they had a parcel delivered. as i would have put a note through the person door and said i have your parcel. as there is access to my building though 2 other people then i would have expected them to get it i have asked the one who normally gets my post but he hasn’t had anything and he was in all day and the other i haven’t spoke to him before so don’t know if he is telling the truth or not. but i guess my details are in the item as its a contract so they may use them fraudulently but with a change of address buy the number of address.

i have asked all the people arround me and the 2 flats by my door but nothing. one person saw the van but not where he went.

So why post in the ebay section??

But saying that, phone e2save up and tell them what has happened, and to cancel the contract so that no calls can be made. Then if you have no joy in nxt day or 2 then report it as stolen post, get an incedent number and get i touch with e2save again. Who should be able to disable the phone, they have a record of the imei number

re the RM and recorded delivery. i know a chap in liverpool where his postie never waits for a POD. he just pops it into the letterbox and signs the form himself! as he whistles off down the road to the next house.

This is not your problem but that of the company who sent it. You need to contact them and say that you have not received it. They should be doing the chasing. If you paid using a credit card you will also have a possible claim against the card company.

I see no problem with posting this in the ebay section as a lots of queries about Royal Mail and carriers end up here.

thats why i asked why post here as a lot of queries on here are related to postal only.

So maybe a new section would a good idea, all about royal mail and couriers

  • well its been 72 hours and still no ePOD. e2save say they will need to check the name and sig against mine but there isnt one yet. so they have had over 72 hours now to use a free phone. plus the direct debit has been set up by virgin so hopefully i will not get billed for this one as well as another when i get one

I can't see how this is your problem - surely it's up to e2save to sort out with the post office?
  • yer it is but they wont do anything for 72hours and its been but theres still no ePOD so they wont send me another one out and royal mail dont know whats happening. they always seem to mess things up
