I placed an order on the 27th February which was dispatched on 2nd March and it has arrived yet. The dispatch email says that it will be 3-5 days! Really hope it arrives soon, I hate waiting for stuff to be delivered.
  • I suppose I've been one of the few lucky ones too. I've ordered from H&M around 4/5 times and each time I've received the items before they were due to be delivered. Having said that, I'm expecting another order any day, let's hope I don't experience any problems this time round :rotfl:

Kind of off-topic, but did anyone buy Marni stuff from H&M online on launch day? My Marni order was dispatched Friday, but no sign of it, and no button that says "track package" next to my order in my H&M account. I've since bought in a sale and that's also been dispatched but that's trackable... anyone?
  • Mine finally turnt up today with the postie. Dispatched on the 6th. And guess what, both the top and the dress I ordered are the wrong size!!

lol! - I'm in the South East and you would be unusual here - many of the couriers employed by Hermes in my immediate area are just looking to earn a bit of extra cash on the side and some of them are less than honest (I know this because I unfortunately know somebody who used to do it and she used to brag about not delivering the parcels and saying she had and that they must have been stolen)
Not suggesting that this is the case with you of course.
I see what you saying about paying for a premium service (assumably this would ensure delivery out of office hours or would be a waste of time) but I guess people will always take the chance that they are in or that the courier will be able to leave in a safe place.
I know I have been in when the courier has supposedly attempted delivery and I know that cards have not been left - seems others have had similar experiences with Hennes - if only we lived in South Wales

Sorry you have had problems, many of the couriers in South Wales are lifestyle couriers(usually means having a family and fitting it in)not stealing on the side. I've never been told by anyone they steal parcels.

Thanks for your comment, stating you don't feel I'm like the non delivering person you know. Luckily Hermes know I'm not from 11 years of delivering parcels for them, I've had a few try it on though.

Hermes don't offer the premium service, the customer needs to upgrade, it really isn't up to a Hermes courier to give an upgrade for the pay per parcel they receive.

You will always get the customer who feels it's okay to have a hit and miss delivery(I call it catch me if you can).
Couriers get fed up with it, the customer usually doesn't respond to "you missed your delivery card" and try to push you into leaving in bins or other unsafe places, it's a no from me.

H&M ask for a signature, so the courier is asking for trouble or a short working life if they don't adhere to requirements.
Really curious about the courier you know who steals parcels, are they still working for Hermes?

Strangely enough galvanizersbaby, apparently most couriers don't leave cards in any part of the country, you only need to read forums, my point was I always do.
Hermes can pinpoint couriers to the address by the HHT and if they go to the address why wouldn't they leave a card?

I have two different people who deliver with Hermes and both of them are great. One lady actually trudges around the back of my often muddy garden to leave inside an up and over storage area, her suggestion too. Think that is going on step further than the rest actually. Sick of having to travel miles for any missed Royal Mail.I'm delighted when things come via this lady.
H & M have not let me down yet either and must have had 6 + deliveries from them.

Part of the Furniture Combo Breaker
Ordered with H&M 27 Feb, dispatched email on 6th March stating 2-5 working days - turned up today - 7 working days - not great if you're in a hurry for anything but nice items for my daughter!
