During the time my card was stolen, money was deposited into my account and taken out

I checked my statement that the bank sent me after they closed my account in December 2011 (don't know the reason yet) and it says that £422 was deposited in my account in november 2011 and taken out via atm. It says BGC by it and the name of the person I am not even familiar with. I am 15 by the way incase you want to know.

The bank says I should highlight the ones that are fraud so I am going to do this and hopeuflly I wont be held liable.

As your 15 the bank can not chase you for the debt anyway.....

Well they could but they wont be able to take any legal action against you.

    Debt?
I don't even know if the bank suspects that it is fraudulent or had even tried taking it back.

But yes I am overdrawn by £175 due to this also

    BGC=Bank Giro Credit.

Generally a counter credit, often with a personalised paying in slip.

This is a new angle to the previous thread one you started when Barclays closed your account and you wanted to go to the ombudsman!

I think the bank closed your account because they thought it was used for fraudulent purposes.

I also have to say that you appear to write very maturely for a 15 year old!

    Enough said?

    On what grounds?

Du yoo xpekt yungstaz tu typ lyk diss blud bruv innit?

I disagree. I would've typed like OP at 15. A lad who was in my year would've filled it with words that had a minimum of 25 letters each - he'd always be bamboozling us mere mortals with these huge words. If the way OP types makes them & me at 15, mature, then what does that say about the nation in general.

£422 was paid in and then £422 was taken out by ATM. Are you sure it says BGC. Are you sure this is not the bank cancelling the fraudulent transaction or cancelling an error because I can't quite understand how £422 could have been withdrawn from an ATM anyway.

Alternatively, your card was stolen by somebody who knows your PIN number, went into a bank, paid money in over the counter, went to an ATM and drew it out. Perhaps the guy who stole the card was just plain crazy!

regardless if the OP is 15, many people that age know words that can ameliorate a sentence into something that makes them seem older. Don't need to be old to be articulate!

thats all i need to say on that.... innit ;)

£300 was withdrawn, rest was spent on petrol and shopping in ASDA

Yes but WHY would the thief do this? It is insane. Have you discussed this problem with your parents or perhaps your teacher?
