Hi, when we returned our sons ds for repair under warrenty we had to send the reciept with it. Nintendo customer service were great, I would ring them and ask.

THANK YOU for the advice (especially Bikertov & JamesK10). I will be planning on spending my credit & points on Friday... I will be fuming if the Administrators come in before then (watch this space)!
Now is a quiet time for new game releases... At the very worst I will purchase some items and sell them on ebay or (trade in at CEX).0 -

You're welcome but after that post with the BBC story above, if we know they're appointing administrators within the next 24-48hrs which means the rent day deadline doesn't matter so much anymore, if you know of any precinct Game branches with late opening Thursday nights, you might want to bring your plans forward, maybe even to today on your lunch time or straight after work.
At least we know this time, where's that other MCV article that was on their website recently;

If it's true that RBS put the block on Comet's owners buying the group as was, threatening 6000 jobs in the week of the budget, we won't know if there will be political ramifications going back to government, as a state-owned bank leading the charge to a big company dying off - even if the mess was the management's fault.0 -

RBS should not be subsidising failing companies. Comet has been crap for ages, charge extortionate prices with non-existent customer service. The Government should not allow RBS or any state-owned bank to save failing businesses.0 -
Fair point re Comet except they were French, and now have British private venture capital owners that were willing to settle debts IE give taxpayers back their 45 million quid - I'd love to know the solution if opportunities to get our bailout money back in full are routinely dismissed.
What we don't know yet is why RBS turned that down - the political point I was making was about bailed out banks not lending to businesses of any size and sometimes (early on, just after the bailout) moving the goalposts in lending terms when it had agreed to lend to smaller companies and startups.
Still, it's not something for the staff to care about, it's now up to 6000 people on the job market, which is good for nobody.0 -

RBS don't want any risk on their books and don't care if businesses fail. Despite the taxpayer ownership, the Government have zero control on what RBS should and should not do. They have even taken away credit from Smarkets, a small but upcoming betting exchange.0 -
I'm going to miss my local Gamestation. The staff were always helpfu and friendly and and Xmas shopping certainly won't be the same without it. The loss of so many jobs is really sad.0
