  • Having read through all these posts I am wondering how you know someone has a confirmed address or not. I know the details can be seen on the Paypal payment page but is there a way to see this before they pay by Paypal?

Nope. Gotta check it out when they pay.

So if someone with an unconfirmed address wins a high value item and pays for it what do you do? Tell them its not for sale and refund them? Then you'd lose loads in fees and probably get neg feedback. Its a shame that unconfirmed addresses can't be blocked. That would make so much sense.
  • Refund them and ask them to confirm their address.

I believe part of a NPB dispute is 'buyer wanted item sent to an unconfirmed address'... I could be wrong.

I'd rather refuse to sell and take a neg than lose hundreds of pounds.
