You may be lucky. The thing to do when dealing with wet gadgets is to:
1) Wipe any surface water off with tissue or a light cloth
2) Do not attempt to plug it in, remove cartridges, CDs...
3) Do NOT place it in front of a heater/radiator
4) Instead place the object on a table and let it dry out slowly and in its own time. Do not place it in direct sunlight either.
The idea is to let the thing dry out slowly. I've tried it with a mobile I dropped down the loo and it worked afterwards with no problems. The method is not fail safe, it all depends on luck. You maybe lucky and it works, or it may not work.Lack of money is the root of all evil.

Sound advice. You don't want to be causing condensation. Another good place is to put it is in the airing cupboard (assuming you have a got water tank) for a couple of days. Leave it opened up at 90 degrees and balance it on its edge.0
