Hi Renegade - you dont say how you manage this. I just bought kindle today and would be interested to know how this is possible without joining prime.

If anyone knows how to do this I would really appreciate the info:o

You just go to amazon and search "free kindle books"... and then you click on the ones you want. It's that simple..

If you search for 'kindle users forum' (sorry can't do links atm) there is a tab which lists around 1,000 books per day. Just select to download and it will take you through an Amazon checkout to send to your kindle.

I check the Kindle Daily Deals and top selling free books almost every day and this morning there was an offer on free audible downloads for 10 classic books, most of which I had already purchased so was able to add the narrative version for £0.
These are read by top actors such as Kenneth Branagh, Juliet Stevenson, Martin Jarvis, Prunella Scales etc.
A great bargain if you like classics and a great way to try them if you think you don't.

great tip, I was dubious abut getting an email every day, I get so many and don't have time to check every single book, but this one is really easy to scan through, it shows the ratings and you can pick the categories

Where did you find the free audible ones please or is it finished now?
