I'm glad I read this post a few days ago. I ordered a book that was showing as free, but when I received a confirmation email, I had been charged £2.49. I had checked the price before purchase, as I always do, and it was definitely listed as £0.00.

I have contacted Amazon to ask for a refund, as the book was charged for but had been free at the time of ordering. My card will be credited with a refund within 48 hours - and yes, they are removing the book from my account.
