  • AIUI lack of self level and washers will not be an MOT fail

    if fitted they should work.

when chinese ones are bodged in, and you cant level them or give them any beam direction, and cant adjust them they become a big fat fail!

^^ And that's the correct answer here.

If you can fit them, and you can somehow get them to give a decently shaped beam with the correct cut off, then they will pass an MOT even if you don't have levellers and washers, but the chances of you pulling that off with a badly made £40 piece of crud off eBay are pretty slim.

What are peoples thoughts on these?

I wanted to replace my headlight bulbs, but with good one's rather than standard cheap one's like I usually do.
A good set of is anywhere from £20 upwards, closer to 30 for top ones.
But I have seen HID conversion kit's on the likes of ebay from £40.
What are peoples thoughts on these? Are they worth it?

I have never heard about such cheap kits. Are they good ones to have? Please provide some short review about the kits as I am searching to get new ones very soon.. Thanks in advance:)

And so far this year 2 lads from the club have been pulled for dodgy lights. Both driving towards a police car and they spun around because their lights dazzled them.
