The @ and # are all you need for them to see it.
IF a comp asks for a retweet specifically...they get stats with a list of who did that from their tweet and others won't count in that.
If you reply from their page the @ part is there already so you just need to add the # and answers.

The Xperia twitter comp here https://twitter.com/#!/sonyxperiagb asks a question, in that one all you need is the @ and # parts and your answer. @ means they see it, # means they can know what it's about. Usually they just search the #tag and everything they see is entries related to that comp. You can do that too, to check what other people are tweeting. Just use the "discover" up top in twitter and the word you want to find.

I find it easy to have the basic stuff in a note on my PC and just add the answers each time if it's regular. Makes it easy.

made up ma own tweet. lookin back over previous days, the last 2 numbers of the # thing go up each day, also you include the prize name each day. worth a shot, if the proper one shows up can still rt that!
