I sympathise with the OP that she has had shocking service from BG, but feel she is slightly exagerrating how cold it was.:footie:Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S)

What we have said is we feel that OP is exagerrating how cold it was, and that they were both turning blue.
I think i was also helpful by advisin her to contact her doctor if indeed she was turning blue.

If OP had not thrown this issue in [presumably in a misguided attempt to bolster her cause], perhaps she would have got help with the rump of the problem, rather than its pretty face.Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. I think the OFGEM rule of 4hr call out stops the clock at 6pm and starts it again about 8am so if you phone at 4pm they have until 10am.IT Consultant in the utilities industry specialising in the retail electricity market.

Hello, it's me again.
For the all the people who seem more concerned about whether it was cold or not... I am no lily liver, and it was cold. It is an old building, and yes indeed, my daughter was in fact blue. Please take it as a premise that it was cold ! I wouldn't have uprooted my daughter if it wasn't, and I also believe that anyone would have felt the same, if they were here.
I think that the temperatures across the country are varying wildly at the moment.. I read in the paper yesterday that some parts of the country are seeing very mild temps, but we are not. And the weekend especially was cold.
Anyway, back to the point of the matter... it is now Tuesday, and I was promised, again, another visit from BG this morning between 8am and 1. No-one has been. Yesterday morning, after another three phone calls to BG an independent contractor came out but could only load a small amount of emergency gas onto the the machine until someone came to sort the problem out.
There is now another promise to come out tonight between 5 and 9.
Will keep you posted. (If you can handle the excitement)0 -

So they have done a wind on, which would of been a national grid engineer. If in doubt with no gas call 0800 111999 . Op you could of got fan heaters tempoary, BG can also send whats called a blue flash via special delivery via siemens.Don't put your trust into an Experian score - it is not a number any bank will ever use & it is generally a waste of money to purchase it. They are also selling you insurance you dont need.0
