Can I port to Pay-As-U-Go?

Hi I'm changing jobs and need to port my number from the company phone contract onto my new job's company contract. However there will be a short gap between jobs so I'm hoping I can port to payg first. Is this possible?

Yes you can port to a different network. Orange are doing SIM's for £1 but you can often pick up SIM's for free if you look around. Needs to be a different network to port to.

can you port say from vodafone contact, to o2 payg, and back to a new voda contract?

yes, I did that last year, I was with pay as u go Vodafone and I transferred to O2..

I have got a free 02 sim card which I never used. I have been provided OAC code from Orange. Can I port Orange No. to 02 pay as you go?

How long 02 will take to provide me a PAC code? I want to port vack to new orange contract.

Also Are there any conditions in place e.g. how long you should have the pay as you go account open?
