I disagree. There has been very bad press re cavaliers recently and I believe the breeder is making sure people know they are not the same breed and therefore will not suffer the same highly publicised problem.EllaBeagle wrote: »I think the reason why the breeder has made the distinction is to confirm they are king charles and not cavaliers. They do look a bit strange, but I'm not an expert. my mum has had the breed for around 15 years now and have never seen one with a head that shape...0

I have this breed and would not touch those pups with a barge pole. far too much dome and white showing in the eyes ( could be the picture of course or a sign of hydrocefelus)
people who dont know the breed would see that puppy and think god what is wrong with its head , but breeders who have been brainwashed at dog shows for a few years will think wow thats fantastic !
They do get syringomela, may actually be worse than cavaliers for it.
breeders may argue the puppies with really deformed heads act normal so they cant be sick, but that doesnt mean they are , they might not start having problems until a year old when their brain damage has built up, or they may always just seem a bit slow and dopey but even if they get through life ok its still not right for them to have a head full of water0
