One slight word of warning on the Tesco card, we are coming to the end of the promotion 0%.
Ours needs to be paid in full by 5th April, on the statement dated 5th February there is a warning to tell us that, but on the statement dated 5th March not a word about the impending end of 0%. So make sure you are aware of the finish date.

If you pay by direct debit make sure it says on the statement to be paid by direct debit on xx/xx/xxxx or it hasnt been set up in time for that statement.

Yep, though if you did miss it interest only runs from the expiry of the 0% period. (Probably obvious but I remember a post from someone who thought that it might run back to the date they got the card! It's not a "gotcha" situation of that sort.)
