Halifax Clarity account displaying a Standard Mastercard

Yeah, Halifax online really isn't up to par in any way at all. You'll still have a Clarity/Clarity Reward card even though, it's displayed online as a Standard Mastercard
I realise this is an old thread, however it is not just Halifax that needs to modernise their website.
Barclaycard whom I consider to be the most innovative and modern of any bank/ CC (for online services) also display an ugly cr**py green something, some type of card which looks ancient, nothing like my Barclaycard Visa which was formerly an Egg Visa.
I have no idea in this day and age as to why they cannot display the card that their individual customers have? You may question anything I say. Just be polite, otherwise you go straight on to my Ignore List, which funds a good old fashioned knees-up every Xmas. Cheers;)0 -

Mine does. I have the cashback card that was ridiculously short lived (pulled after less than a year?) and it shows that one. Little gem that one, I'm a low spender in the greater scheme of things and my cashback has already covered the fee after 4 months, and it has benefits you normally only see on Amex cards (extended warranty, price match, foreign services). No wonder they pulled it...Oh, you wee bazza!0 -
Based on the advice of Money Saving Expert I applied for a Halifax Clarity Card in our local branch last summer. I already had a Halifax Credit Card which I had not used for some time. I specified I wanted a Clarity Card and the lady explained all the perks to me - including the £5 reward provided you spent £300+ a month etc. I did query at the bank a few months back re the absence of the £5 reward. I was told perhaps it had gone into my current account but I did not follow it up. Again I went in the branch yesterday as there was a duplicate entry (i.e. I was charged twice for the same transaction) on my statement. I spoke to the credit card team using the in house phone. However I was told I did not get the £5 reward as I have a standard Mastercard rather than the Clarity card! I then queried with Customer Service in the branch who called up a copy of the Clarity card on her computer screen - it looks exactly like the card I have - it does not contain the word 'Clarity'. She also confirmed that actually I have 2 cards - including an old one with higher credit amount and APR of 10.9%! (the current one has an APR of 12.9%). I wonder why when I applied for a Clarity Card I was given a second Mastercard on a worse package than my old card! I plan to cancel both cards as soon as some other queries have been resolved.0

Perhaps I have your fiver?
I thought I had a Halifax Clarity (non-reward) credit card, however last month I spent over £300 on it for the first time and received a fiver reward!
I've used the card exclusively in the Philippines and at Hong Kong airport and can't think of any other reason I'd have received the reward.
I did take advantage of one of their Cashback Extra rewards, but that was using my Halifax Reward debit card and I had a fiver credited to my bank account for that... and the usual fiver reward for having the account.
Oh well, a free fiver. I won't complain.
